‘The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world and those who live in it…’ Psalm 24. This is a picture I took a few years ago in Yosemite – such awesome beauty and splendour. As we continue to reflect on how we care for creation, here are some words from Chief Seattle:

Teach your children what we have taught our children
That the earth is our mother
Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons and daughters of the earth
If men spit upon the ground they spit upon themselves
